Jessie’s Notes is an edu-tech platform built as a premium alternative to rote and one-size-fits-all tutoring. It helps Australian high school students navigate their HSC Maths exams with confidence. I led the brand roll-out, designing the logo, colour system and a course-explainer animation, and established brand guidelines that became the source of truth across both web and print. I then collaborated with a developer to craft responsive UI across desktop and mobile.

The problem
Jessie knew exactly who her ideal student was. She had no way to translate that into her online presence. After investing thousands of dollars into disappointing freelance results, her personal taste and what actually worked for marketing had become tangled together. Jessie’s Notes needed an identity and web presence that matched the quality of the teaching itself.
The solution
I scrapped the previous design work. Through business-alignment sessions I walked Jessie through a strategic framework that clarified her vision and mission. From there I married her ideal student profile with her own personal style. I researched what visual language reads as trustworthy in HSC Maths tutoring and landed on bright highlighter-inspired colours paired with user-friendly UX principles for a premium finish. I then partnered with a developer to launch a modern, fun Webflow site: a whimsical space for likeminded students preparing for their HSC.
